In the Name of God Amen I Mary Lavinder Widow in the parish of
Therfield in the County of Hertford being of Sound Mind Memory and
Understanding (praised be God for the Same) Do Make and publish this
My Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following (that is to Say)
First, I do give and Devise unto My Daughter Mary Lavinder one Shilling
to be paid her one Month after My Decease Allso I do give unto My Daughter
Sarah Wife of Richard Haggor one Shilling to be paid her one Month after
My Decease Allso I do give unto My Daughter Ann Wife of Benjamin
Crouch one Shilling to be paid her one Month after My Decease Allso I do
Give unto My Daughter Elizabeth Wife of William Knight one Shilling to be paid
her one Month after My Decease As to my Goods Chattels and personal Effects of
What Natuer or Kind-Soever and Wheresoever (My Debter and funerall Expence
being first paid and Discharged) I do give and bequeath the Same unto my
Daughter Alce Lavinder and to my Grand Daughter Mary Laivender Ailers Ayers
Whome I do hereby Nominate and Appoint Whole and Sole Executrix of this My
Last Will and Testament and Lastly Revokeing and Making Void all former Wills
by Me heretofore Made and I do Declare this to be My Last Will and Testament
In Witness Whereof I the Said Mary Lavinder have hereunto Set My hand
and Seale this twelth day of July and In the thirty third yeare of the Reigene
of our Souering Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain
France and Ireland King defender of the faith and in the yeare of our
Lord 1760 Allso my Will and plesuer is that my Grand Son George Hagger
Shall have one Guinea to be paid one Month after my Decease
and this Was Given before My Will Was Signed

of the wpfull Arthur Collier Dr. of Laws Comm. and
the revd. Charles Jenner Master of Arts offl. of the
archdeaconry of Huntingdon &c by the Oath of the
Extrixes to whom was granted adron &c and being first sworn
& salvoer[?]



(ON THE BACK OF THE WILL) Mary Lavinder the Testatrix died at Therfield on
the 8th of August 1765

12 August 1765
Alice Lavinder and Mary Lavinder alias Ayers Spinsters the Executrixes within
named were sworn to the Truth of this Will and to the due Performance
thereof this twelfth Day of August in the Year of our Lord one Thousand
seven hundred and sixty five Before me
