Martin Hagger's Family Tree

? Please read copyright note at bottom of page

This site mainly consists of my family tree.  It also includes details of some connected families, in particular the PRACYs.  The tree contains over 5,000 people, and a one-page index would be large and unwieldy, so it is split into several smaller pages.  To search for a person, click on Index of persons and then select from the alphabetical list of Index pages.  To make searching easier, 'standard' surname spellings have been adopted, so that (for example) persons with the surname HAGGER, HAGER, HAGGAR, etc., are all spelt HAGGER.

The Index of surnames is a list of ALL surnames on the tree, linked to the 'Index of persons'.  My surnames is a list of surnames in my direct line, with links to the tree.  My wife's surnames is a similar list of surnames in my wife's direct line.  To find me on the tree, Click here.

Some parts of the tree are strictly-speaking theoretical, as they are based solely on transcripts and indexes (I have not found time to view all the original evidence yet).  This is not very good genealogy, but may provoke a more knowledgeable soul to correct my mistakes.  Criticism of any aspect of the site will be most welcome, especially if you wish to challenge my genealogical conclusions  -  the more voices, the better the debate.  If you find errors, or links that don't work, please let me know.

All family trees have rotten apples, and the most rotten of ours has made it into print.  The grim story of Harold HAGGER is told in Murder at Wrotham Hill, by Diana Souhami, published September 2012.
