In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Haggor of Therfield in the County
of Hertford Yeoman, being weak in body but of sound mind do make and
publish this to be my last Will and Testament in the manner following (that is
to say) I Give and Bequeath unto Eleanor my Wife & my Son John Haggor
All my Farming stock, Household Furniture and Personal Estate whatsoever
and wheresoever to be equally enjoyed by them my said Wife & Son so long
as the said Eleanor shall continue a Widow and unmarried, but in case she
shall marry again Then I Give the whole of my Farming stock, Household
Furniture and Personal Estate unto my said Son John Haggor whom I
hereby nominate and appoint Executor of this my Will, and do direct
that he may pay all my just Debts and Funeral Expencies as soon as
conveniently may be after my Decease, and having heretofore given
to my Daughters Sarah Funstone, Elizabeth Holliman, and Mary Beale
and actually paid to every one of them the Sum of Forty Pounds I hope
they will be contented as it is all I intended they should have from me,
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this Fifth Day
of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand and Seven Hundred & Seventy nine

Oath of the Extor & To whom was granted Admon & being first sworn
