In the Name of God amen the 18 day of Sept. in the

year of our Lord 1763  I William Haggor of Tharfield

the Elder, being very sick and weak in body, but of

perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this

my Last will and Testament in mannor and form

following  in imprimis I give and bequath unto my

beloved Son George Haggor the Summ of twenty

pounds of Good & Lawfull money to be paid with in

one twelve month and a day after my Deceace allso I

give and unto my Daughter Martha Field the Summ

of ten pound of Good and Lawfull money to be paid

with in one twelve month and a day after my Deceace

allso I give unto my grandaughter Martha Haggor

the Summ of five pound of good & Lawfull money to

be paid with in a twelve month and a day after my deceace

all the above Legces to be paid by my Executor herein

after Named  Item I give unto my Son Thos. Haggor

whome I Likewise Constitute Make and Ordain my

Only and Sole Executor of this my Last will and

Testament by him to be parsed all the Rest and Residue

of any Stock and Goods and Chattles and I do hereby

make all and former wills Revoke and Dissanull Ratifying

and Confirming this and no Other to be my Last will and

Testament in wittness whereof I have hereunto set my

hand and Seal the day and year above writtin

[ON THE BACK OF THE WILL] William Hagger The Testator died at Therfield

on or about the 22 of September 1763.


The 3d of October 1763

Thomas Hagger one of the Sons and of Sole Executor with in named

was sworn to the Truth of this Will and to the Due Performance

thereof this third Day of October in the year of our Lord one

thousand seven hundred and sixty three
