[9501] Notes: Named as a beneficiary in her brother Jonathan's will, proved in 1800, which spells her surname as GURLING.
[9498] Source: Approximate year of birth only, assumed from christening date
[9499] Source: Online International Genealogical Index (IGI) at www.familysearch.org
[9500] Source: Burial register (image online at www.ancestry.co.uk). The register states that Hannah died of asthma, aged 64, and was buried, "in the Vault in the North Side Isle (sic) of the Church". This was plainly the 'family grave', because on the same page is Hannah's brother, Jonathan SILLS, aged 71, who was buried in the same vault a month later, on 23rd February. The burial register is that of St Peter's, Paul's Wharf, but the vault must have been in St Benet's, because St Peter's was destroyed in the Great Fire. The church was not rebuilt, and the parish was united with St Benet's.
