[10632] Source: Approximate year of birth only, calculated from age at death 72 in 1832 (see Burial Source) which may or may not be accurate, bearing in mind her recorded status as the last remaining member of her family at Trois-Rivières. No birth (or baptism) has been found for Sarah, but it is assumed to have been in Quebec City. Her father is recorded as living at Quebec in 1763-1764 and 1767-1769, before being appointed Deputy Postmaster of Trois-Rivières in 1770.

Sarah SILLS as, "only surviving daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah SILLS of
Three Rivers".
On page 41 of the booklet (written in French) "Trois-Rivières D'Autrefois" (Three
Rivers Once), found online at https://oraprdnt.uqtr.uquebec.ca/pls/public/docs/GSC1869/O0000997164_T_R_autrefois.
pdf, is a paragraph about Sarah's death, which translates (roughly!) as.....
Miss Sarah Sills, born in 1760 or 1761, died in Trois-Rivières under the attacks
of cholera on June 29, 1832, "seventy-two years of age." The July 7 Mercury
notes that (she?) was the last member of a family established at Trois-Rivières
in 1761. "Sarah Sills, the last of a most respectable family resident in the
town of Three Rivers since 1761."
