Notes: On Alice's daughter Evelyn's birth certificate, her parents were
recorded as Edward WATSON and Alice WATSON, formerly BLOWER. However, no marriage
for this pair can be found, even going back 20 years before Evelyn's birth. Four
years after daughter Evelyn's birth, when Alice married Thomas BUTLER, she was
Alice BLOWER, a spinster. Therefore, it is assumed that Alice never actually
married Edward WATSON.
